I had the upmost pleasure of meeting Phil when he came and did a signing at my old comic shop (which is now sadly closed). He couldn’t have been sweeter or more gracious. He signed and did sketches for everyone who wanted one. He also then went to dinner with a few of us afterword. It’s one of my favorite nerd times ever.

Purity Ring’s music is like pop beemed from someone’s sub-conscience and the video for “Fineshrine” visualizes this perfectly. Haunting and unerving yet completely captivating, much like Purity Ring’s songs, this video rewards repeat viewings.
You might have to dig deep but there are still artists out there making good videos. Purity Ring are one of those artists. The video for “Belispeak” is a stunning uber goth vision of the mysteries and terrors luking in the swamp lands.
